WELCOME TO DEWITT'S COURT GREAT DANES...
HOME OF MAGNIFICENT BLUES, BLACKS, HARLEQUINS and MANTLES.....

AT DEWITT'S COURT WE STRIVE FOR THE BEST IN CONFORMATION, HEALTH, TEMPERAMENT, SUBSTANCE
AND LONGEVITY....

Some new and exciting changes are taking place at DeWitt's Court, our family is growing!  We have shared our work,
experience and background with some valued co-owners who are now working with us to continue to breed, raise, show
and own the wonderful line of Great Danes we have been working with for years.  Some of the best of our brood
bitches and stud dogs live with our co-owners and with their help we have produced eight beautiful AKC champions.
We have seen our champions finish with natural ears, some of them owner handled.  With the help of our expanded
family, DeWitt's Court will continue to breed for health, temperament and longevity in harlequin and mantle, black and
blue. We always stay within the "color code" of breeding to produce the purest in color and markings.
We health test all of the dogs in our show/breeding program, and encourage pet owners to health test also.  Most of
those health tests are shown at the Orthopedic Foundation of Animals (OFA) website:
www.offa.org. Although not all
completed tests are submitted to this public database, most are completed and records kept of results. Likewise, all
of our show/breeding dogs are registered with the
American Kennel Club (AKC), and we suggest that all pet puppy
owners register their puppies.  Some of our puppies never get registered in AKC, but applications to do so are provided
at the time a puppy is released to its new owner. DeWitt's Court has also contributed to the research of various
health issues that are inherent in the breed.  The
Great Dane Club of America (GDCA) offers a variety of ongoing
health research for the benefit of Great Danes and is a great educational and research tool for our breed.  Please
visit these websites for information about Great Danes.
